Bug fix for The 1980 time problem
We have found that there is a problem with all versions of Timeware5, Auto:Time Premium, Auto:Time Express.
The problem is classed as critical!!!
If either Task Scheduler or The main program attempt to set the time on the terminals, the time on the terminal will change to 1980 or 2080.
To get around this problem everybody will need to update to the newest version of that particular software.
If you are running either Timeware5 or a pre dongle version of Auto:Time Premium/Express. It's important you write down your registration code first. It can be found by going into your program, Help at the top middle then about. You don't need to write down the first 4 numbers.
Dongle users, there is no need for you to do this as the dongle removes the need for a registration code
Instructions for the patch
Download the appropriate zip file which relates to the software you are running.
Unzip the files from the zip file
The files within the zip file need to replace your current files, they will probably be stored in one of the following locations
C:\Auto Time\Auto Time Software\
C:\Program Files\AutoTime\Premium\
C:\Program Files\NMD\Timeware5\
You can tell it has worked correctly because a screen will pop up saying those files already exist do you want to replace them, just say yes to that.
Right that's it, the patch has now been applied, any customers using dongles can skip the next part and move straight onto the bit about updating the clock.
Go into the program, if it's a pre dongle version it's almost certainly going to ask you for a code. Hopefully you made a note of it.
A typical code looks like this
2157 0001 0095 2527
You may notice the first 4 numbers are greyed out and cannot be changed. That is normal. They change every time you go into the system.
So Once this screen appears don't close it until I have given you the password. Else the password I get for you will be wrong.
Once you have put the password in your ready to update the clock and fix the problem.
Email me both what version of the software you are running, Timeware5, Express or Premium. Also the full Registration code including the grayed out numbers.
I will email you back as soon as I can with a password.
My Email address is Stephen@addtimerecording.com
Fixing the clock
Simply go to Tools at the top, then Hardware, then GMT/BST, while your on the screen you will notice you can set the date when the clocks go back and forward an hour.
Just copy of this picture I've done and you won't have any problem with the clocks not going forward/back for 2008.

IF you have not already done, click on set date and time.
That's it done!!
Finally
Remember to put this patch on all computers running Timeware, Auto:Time Express/Premium
My apologises for any problems this has caused.
This bug has been in the program since it was written apparently.
Regards,
Stephen
